Advent is a wonderful season, in a world corrupted by sin hope is on the horizon. There is an escape from the pervasive darkness around us. The world offers shallow distractions like Black Friday sales, but consumerism will never release captives from the clutches of sin. May the lost hear of Christ and follow the light like the Wise Men.
